Curling LEagues

Join us as a member of the St. Stephen Curling Club and enjoy the sport of curling! Learn more about our membership options here. 

All are welcome to participate in our leagues. Our Sunday and Monday leagues are open format and individuals are encouraged to participate - we will place you on a team. Our Thursday night league is the only team-entry league.

Our Tuesday and Thursday morning fun curling league is open to members and non-members alike! 

Sunday Evenings - (@ 6:30pm) Team Entry & open to anyone who wants to curl. Individuals not on a team will be assigned to one. There are lots of openings for teams and individuals.  Contact - Maurice.Gullison@gnb.ca 

Monday Evenings - (@ 7:00pm) Mixed Curling - Open to all who are interested with teams formed from participating curlers.  Come as a couple or single and we will put you on a team. A great way to meet new people as we switch teams around throughout the season.. Contact - Ken MacDonald -  kvmacd@nbnet.nb.ca

Thursday Evenings - (@ 7:00 & 8:30pm) Team Entry Industrial League -  Grab three of your friends and enter a team.  Space is limited. Contact Rob Watson rjwatson103@gmail.com

Note - Evening curling requires participants to join the club. Non-members can spare for absent team members for a fee of $15.00, to be collected and remitted by the team skip. Both club members and non-members can participate in morning recreational curling.

Tuesday & Thursday Mornings - (@ 10:00am) Recreational League - Different teams formed each morning from participants present that day. Both club members and non-members of any skill level are welcome.  Join us for coffee, donuts and fun times. Contact Doug at  dougrusfal@gmail.com or Rob at rjwatson103@gmail.com

Juniors - (After school, day TBD) Ages 12-17 - No experience required, helmets encouraged. All curling equipment provided - only clean sneakers to wear on the ice. Bring your friends and learn about this fun sport! Practices will be once a week, after school, on a day TBD once the season begins. Contact Abby Pond at ponddrop@gmail.com

Little Rocks - (Sundays at 2 PM) Ages 6-11 - A fun learn to curl program for kids! No equipment for curling necessary, but helmets are required (not provided). Practices will be once a week, after school, on a day TBD once the season begins The contact person is Rob Watson rjwatson1-3@gmail.com.

Learn to Curl

Try curling at our open houses! 

Join us from 7-9 PM any weeknight evening October 28 - November 1 2024 (not open on Halloween) at our free Curling Open House Week! Stop in and learn about curling from one of our instructors. If you're a returning curler, head out on the ice and get some practice in before the season begins, or get some tips on improving your game!

Curling Day in Canada Open House - Join us for a taste of curling in February - more details coming soon!

Instructional Night - On Tuesday night, pop in and practice skills, learn something new, get some help from a coach, or try out something new like doubles curling. Open to all members.

Curling For Youth

We offer two youth curling programs at our club:

Little Rocks (ages 6 -11) is a fun program for kids to learn about curling, have fun, get some exercise, and learn how to be safe on the ice. Sundays at 2 PM.

Juniors (ages 12-17) Taking place after school, this program for teens is a fun way to hone skills in a sport that they can play their entire lives. Contact Abby Pond at ponddrop@gmail.com for more details.
